Factory event production inside an industrial estate — GLA Thailand

Event Production for Factories in Chonburi Industrial Estates

Amata City, WHA, Pinthong, Laem Chabang, Sahaphat — what each estate hosts and how entry works.

Chonburi's estates run from Amata City down to the port district at Laem Chabang, forming the second dense manufacturing belt in the country. They differ more than the shared province suggests: some are electronics and automotive, one sits against a deep-sea port with constant container traffic, and another holds a workforce large enough that a family day is the biggest event of its year.

This page separates them so you know roughly what a plan will look like before you brief us.

Said plainly first: we have no published Chonburi case study, and this page is a description of coverage and capability. The verifiable plant-level record is in Rayong — the Haier groundbreaking, the Nexteer opening, the Taiming anniversary. Same crew, same inventory, and Chonburi is the shorter drive at about ninety minutes from Bangkok.

Listing an estate describes our service area. It does not mean GLA maintains an office, warehouse or permanent branch there.

Four things to close before load-in

Personnel and vehicle registration, the contractor safety briefing, hot-work and temporary-power permits, and confirmation of permitted truck hours. Estate authority and plant EHS approve separately — start a week ahead.

Around Laem Chabang there is a fifth: container traffic. A load-in truck caught in port peak pushes the whole build back, so heavy equipment is normally scheduled overnight or at first light.

Estate coverage

Estate by estate

Amata City Chonburi

One of Thailand's largest integrated industrial cities, densely tenanted by Japanese and Chinese manufacturers, with strong amenities. Suits large openings, anniversaries and supplier conferences, and there are usable banquet venues both inside and just outside the estate. Build works and hot work follow the estate's published regulations.

WHA Chonburi

Manufacturing and logistics tenants; new-plant openings, commissioning ceremonies and customer visit days are the usual formats. Internal roads take large vehicles, so stage and LED trucks reach the plant directly — event-day routing is agreed with estate security in advance.

Pinthong Industrial Estate

Small and mid-sized plants with a large Chinese and Taiwanese tenant base. Openings, anniversaries and staff events dominate. Moderate scale means mid-sized stage and backdrop packages, usually one truckload, which keeps budgets contained.

Laem Chabang

Beside Thailand's largest deep-sea port, concentrated in logistics and manufacturing. Entry timing is visibly affected by container traffic, so load-in is scheduled overnight or early morning. Suits commissioning ceremonies, supplier conferences and annual dinners in the hotels nearby.

Rojana Industrial Park Chonburi

Components and electronics manufacturing, with openings and annual recognition events most common. Shuttle-bus traffic inside the estate is heavy, so heavy equipment avoids shift-change windows.

Eastern Seaboard Chonburi

Automotive supply chain again, with customer visit days, supplier conferences and in-plant ceremonies. High plant density means the event area usually needs barriers and a temporary circulation plan.

Sahaphat Industrial Park Sriracha

Consumer-goods manufacturing with a very large combined workforce, which makes employee family days, anniversaries and recognition rallies the signature event type here. Events at that scale need registration flow, shade structures and temporary sanitation planned from the start, not added late.

FAQ

Common questions

Have you worked in Chonburi before?
There is no published Chonburi case study, and we will not imply otherwise. The verifiable plant-level work is in Rayong — Haier, Nexteer, Taiming — with the same team and equipment.
What makes Laem Chabang harder than other estates?
Container traffic. A build truck caught in port peak delays the whole schedule, so heavy equipment goes in overnight or at first light with buffer time built in.
Can you handle a family day for a very large workforce?
Yes. At that scale the decisive factors are registration flow, shade and temporary facilities — all settled at planning stage rather than improvised on the day.
How far is it from Bangkok?
Roughly 100 to 130 kilometres to the main estates, about ninety minutes — the shortest run of our three eastern service areas.
Can we book build-only or equipment-only?
Yes. Build, equipment rental with operators, and full event delivery can each be taken on separately.
